The Pre-licensing Course may be taken in the classroom or via distance learning/virtual classroom. If you choose the classroom version, then you will receive an MV-278 Prelicensing Certificate of Completion. All courses have the same syllabus, regardless of the version you take. The provider will automatically record your completion to the DMV after you've completed your course. You won't be required to present a certificate in order to take the driver's test.
